My client had various third party tools he was currently involved with. Being a photographer, he was on flickr, facebook, and another popular photo site which creates your prints called Smug Mug. What I had to do was create a simple SEO powered launch page into all of these various sites.

Added Piwik Open Source Analytics Package

New clients coming onboard will now have the luxury of using the Piwik analytics package. What is so important about this analytics platform you might ask? Well for one it is open source, easy to manage, and allows a wide variety of options ranging from custom reporting to unique campaign management tracking using the Piwik API. Another reason is that Piwik is not Google, so now you don’t need to worry about Google seeing your data or having to create a Google account in order for you to see your own data.

This is extremely important going on into the future as clients struggle between keeping their analytics data with a third party or having accecss to it internally. And with a robust feature set that stands firm against Google, what more do you have to lose?
